Privacy Policy
Who handles your information
Emer Astra Microfarms is operated by Szakacs Ștefan Alexandru in Alliston, Ontario, Canada. For privacy questions, complaints or access, correction and deletion requests, contact emerastramicrofarms@gmail.com.
Two separate purposes
Chef/contact enquiries are used to respond to your questions and interest in the project. The First Harvest form records your explicit request for one first-release email; it does not enrol you in an ongoing newsletter. No automated email is sent by the current website. Sales and sample distribution remain on hold.
What the forms record
Chef/contact enquiries require a name and email. First Harvest requires an email and explicit consent; a name is optional. Message, restaurant, location, phone and crop interests are optional. The site database records the details submitted, request purpose and source, language, timestamps and applicable consent history.
Storage, access and email
Requests are stored in the site database, with owner-only administrative access in the application. The hosting provider also processes website data. Hosting may involve processing outside Canada. A hashed network identifier is used to limit abusive submissions. If you email us directly, your address and message are handled by our email provider separately from website forms. We do not use your phone for promotional texts.
Withdrawal is not automatic erasure
After a successful submission, save the private management link; no automatic confirmation email is sent. The link withdraws the request and its contact permissions and removes it from active contact lists. It does not automatically erase submitted details or consent records. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion. Contact us to ask how long your records are retained or to request deletion.
Storage on your device
The crop shortlist stores up to three crop identifiers in this browser and is not sent to the contact database or synced across devices. A session preference remembers the motion setting. Language selection is kept in the page address. The web app may cache public assets and an offline page; it does not cache contact submissions, private withdrawal links, owner pages or exports. Clear this site’s browser data to remove locally stored information.
Hosting and cookies
The website application does not add advertising trackers. Hosting providers may use security cookies and operational logs. We have not yet confirmed all hosting retention periods and processing locations; contact us with questions. Optional new uses would need an appropriate explanation and choice; browsing alone is not consent to all uses.
Imagery
The hero, the three amaranth views and other labelled presentation concepts are AI-generated illustrations, not photographs of current Emer Astra harvests. None of these images is evidence of sale or sample availability.
Junior and external links
The website’s Junior plant activities are an educational prototype without accounts, purchases or contact forms. Activity state lasts for the current visit and is not sent to the contact database. Capy & Friends is a separate linked website; this notice does not describe that separate game’s practices.
